6th through 12th grade students the opportunity to obtain a Christian education
following the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod doctrine

 Black Hills Lutheran School is dedicated to the Christian heritage of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
We continuously strive to provide a school that is based on Christian principles and values in a safe and structured
learning environment.  Our state accredited school will encompass outstanding academics which are technology infused,
strong character development, social and spiritual growth, and responsible decision making. 

Through project-based learning, Black Hills Lutheran School students tackle academic curriculum in ways that are
engaging meaningful, adaptable to a variety of learning styles and fun.

Thrivent Authorization Form for Automatic Tuition Payments

Black Hills Lutheran Schools has opened it's Middle School the fall of 2011 with sixth grade at a maximum student enrollment of 20 students.   Each subsequent year another grade level will be opened, followed by the formation of an accredited high school.  

The middle school site has been finalized.  It will be located on the South end of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 910 Wood Avenue, Rapid City, SD  57701.
